Terminator is feminism extreme. It may have been a long time since you've seen these movies, and you probably only remember Arnold's Schwarzenegger's macho man act, but don't let his compensating fool you.

Sarah Connor, the protagonist in the first film and the sequel, is the quintessential strong woman, not only in spirit but also physically. Check out this badass scene where she lights up a corporate bigwig with a fully-automatic in order to save the world.

In Terminator 3: rise of the machines, the T1000 is female, and stronger, smarter, and better then the T1000 in Terminator 2: Judgement Day. Schwarzenegger even paid tribute to her in this movie with a slight modification to his slogan: "she'll be back." You can watch Arnold get beat up by a girl below.

So if you're wondering what to get your mother next Mother's Day, remember that Sarah Connor is the archetypal strong mother, protector, fighter, and provider. You can watch this with your mother and tell her Terminator reminds you of her.
